Ocean Beach A very beautiful white sand beach surrounded by rocky peaks and forest. There were big waves when we were there. It was fun to do some body surfing and it didn't appear to be as dangerous as it would be at Piha beach or any other beach of West Coast. |

Sky Tower fireworks |  Britomart Transport Centre — arrival of the first train to downtown Auckland «The Britomart project is almost complete, providing Auckland with the new Britomart Transport Centre - connecting train, bus and ferry services in downtown Auckland for the first time in over 70 years». Looks like the first Auckland subway station. :) Center is open but is still undergoing the final construction stages. Futuristic design reminds me a city on Mars from the "Total Recall" movie. :) |
